Tourism in the South West provide successful business opportunities
The Visit England awards celebrate the quality and best performing operators in the hotels and leisure sector across the country, so it’s no surprise that many of the winners came from UK holiday hotspots within the South West.
These awards are twinned with the South West Tourism Excellence Awards, hosted in February, meaning that many of the winners from Visit England also grabbed trophies at those awards and the regional awards, which are held in Dorset, Cornwall, Bristol, Bath & Somerset and Devon, as part of its selection process.
As Christie & Co sponsors categories within these regional awards, we get to see how well these businesses perform, the high level of quality, and ever-growing opportunities for operators in the region. This has been the case for a long time now, as the South West earned the most accolades of any region for the sixth year running at the Visit England awards.
