The Client
Dr Akash Ghai and Dr Deepinder Somal instructed Christie & Co to sell their portfolio of three well established dental practices located in the North East of England - Village Dental Practice in Whickham, Westlands Dental Studio in Lanchester, and The Grange Dental Centre in Gosforth. All three practices provide high quality NHS and Private patient care.
The Request
Dr Ghai and Dr Somal were seeking a buyer who they could cohesively work with for a period after the sale, and someone with a reputation that could continue to nourish the legacy of the practices.
The Solution
It was an excellent experience for Christie & Co to have the opportunity to work with such well-known and respected members of the North East dental community. We were able to find the perfect buyers for these three practices based on the requirements initially outlined by the partners. After launching to the market in late summer 2020, we successfully negotiated a premium offer and favourable post completion terms.
The Results
The three businesses have been purchased by an expanding group with an industry-leading management team. The team is investing ambitious dental practices that share the same ethos and core values as themselves. Village Dental Practice, Westlands Dental Studio and The Grange Dental Centre all fit this profile.
