Amber Lodge Nursing Home in Derby sold for the first time
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of Amber Lodge Nursing Home in Derby.
Built in 1989 by its previous owners, Amber Lodge is a purpose-built nursing home providing accommodation for 40 residents. The property is well situated on a main road location in the popular suburb of Osmaston in Derby, with excellent transport links to Derby city centre and to the main motorway network.
The business was previously owned by Diginew Ltd and has now been purchased by Rosmead Healthcare Ltd.
Speaking on behalf of the company, Director, Mr Pasan Nissanka, comments, “Rosmead Healthcare is the sister company of Eastern Healthcare which is well-established in Norfolk and Suffolk and is taking the necessary steps to expand to the East Midlands.”
Jason Payne, Senior Agent at Christie & Co, who handled the sale, comments, “I’m really pleased to have found Amber Lodge a new owner after it was brought to market as a retirement sale. The business was marketed confidentially and received a good level of responses from several interested parties. It has been sold to Rosmead Healthcare, an experienced provider branching out into a new area. I’d like to wish Pasan, Don and their team all the very best with their new venture.
“This deal demonstrates the strength of demand for purpose-built homes in the area, and I expect this demand to continue throughout 2021.”
Amber Lodge Nursing Home was sold off an asking price of £1,800,000.
