Appleby Westward acquire high turnover SPAR convenience store in Porlock

Specialist property business advisor, Christie & Co is delighted to announce the local SPAR store in Porlock, South West Somerset, has been acquired by Appleby Westward.

Located on the High Street in the heart of Porlock, an affluent coastal village on the edge of Exmoor National Park, this well-established and profitable leasehold convenience store has been owned and operated by Peter and Jill Lister since 2002. The store came to the market as they are looking to move overseas and retire.

The new owners, Appleby Westward will continue to operate the business as a SPAR-branded store, run under full management as part of their portfolio.

SPAR Porlock was sold on a leasehold basis, off a guide price of £135,000.
