Over the last 43 years, The Priory Hotel has become one of the main attractions in the very busy and buoyant village of Beauly.  The hotel is situated in the centre of the modern and bustling village square, and is only 15 minutes away from Inverness.

This outstanding property, which was built in 1972, has grown from a 12-bedroom establishment into a 38-bedroom hotel with an ever increasing turnover, and more importantly, an ever-increasing profitability. The hotel features a manager/owner’s flat, along with staff accommodation.

The hotel has been maintained to a high standard, with continual upgrading and refurbishments taking place.  There is also a lounge area and a bar and restaurant which can accommodate in excess of 130 people.  The in-house pub ‘The Comm’ is located through a separate entrance, and with its bistro area, seats 46.  This bar is extremely popular with both locals and guests alike.

The hotel also has an extensive and well-equipped catering kitchen and store room.

Ken Sims of Christie and Co’s Edinburgh office comments, “This is an excellent and unique all-round business, with a strong management team and a dedicated staff.  The owners have decided, after many years running this business, that the time is right to take life slightly easier.

“The hotel attracts strong occupancy from both the corporate sector as well as regular repeat business.  The food side of the business has continued to increase year on year and attracts a wide range of clientele, from morning coffees through to lunches, afternoon teas and dinners and it is seen as the main destination venue in the area for food.

“With a full management team in place, it will appeal to a wide range of buyers and investors.”
Christie & Co are inviting offers for the freehold of the business.
