Boutique hotel in Edinburgh sold through Christie & Co
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co has completed on the sale of 24 Royal Terrace, a 16 bedroom boutique, luxury hotel in Edinburgh’s city centre.
Christie & Co previously sold the Georgian townhouse and former guesthouse in 2014, and after a substantial re-fit, the hotel opened as 24 Royal Terrace in 2015.
24 Royal Terrace has now been acquired by a private company.
Stuart Drysdale, Associate Director at Christie & Co’s Edinburgh’s office who handled the sale comments; “The hotel was openly marketed and immediately gathered strong interest from a variety of private operators, as well as investors. After various points of interest and multiple viewings, a closing date was set for best offers. The market for hospitality businesses in the city remains buoyant, and we have a wide range of requirements from active buyers in the hotel sector.”
