Care Concern Group acquired Abbey House in Swindon
Acting on behalf of the Milestones Trust in Bristol, specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co has brokered the sale of Abbey House in Swindon to the Care Concern Group.
Milestones Trust commissioned the development of Abbey House which opened for trading in 2016. The care home provides 73 single bedrooms in a three storey, purpose-built property with far reaching views across Swindon to the south. All bedrooms have full en suite wet room facilities.
John Hoskinson OBE, Chief Executive of Milestones Trust said, “We have taken the difficult decision to transfer Abbey House to the Care Concern Group. In line with Milestones Trust’s new strategic plan, we will now focus our work on our core specialisms in learning disabilities, mental health and specialist dementia services within the Bristol area.”

Abbey House was sold for an undisclosed sale price.
