Sale of the freehold investment in the BMI Woodlands Hospital Darlington
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co is pleased to announce Legal & General has sold its freehold interest in the BMI Woodlands Hospital for £29.4 million.
Matt Jarvis, Senior Fund manager at Legal & General, said “BMI Woodlands has been a consistent performer for the Fund with a strong tenant and operator in place. As part of our wider strategy, we are delighted to have now concluded this deal as we look to further diversify toward operational assets including hotels, BTR and self-storage. In recent months, we have extended our exposure to these sectors through the acquisition of North Tower, Deansgate and our recent announcement to redevelop 109-112 Princes Street, Edinburgh into a new hotel.”
