Specialist property adviser, Christie + Co, announce changes and expansion to their International team to reflect the growing importance of key offices and markets. Andreas Scriven became International Managing Director of Christie + Co in 2014 and as part of his remit he has reviewed the workings of the International team and has managed the introduction of an Asia desk and new appointments in our European offices including Spain, Stockholm and Ireland. The strengthening of the International team and office network further enhance the ability to deliver best-in-class products and services to our clients by leveraging the team's local knowledge and global reach.

In the German market, which plays an important role in Christie + Co’s international offering, Lukas Hochedlinger, Managing Director Austria and Business Development Manager CEE, has been promoted and will be taking on the additional responsibility of the German and Polish offices. Lukas has successfully built up the business in Austria since 2010 and is fully aware of, and supports the strategic importance of the German market and is committed to a significant expansion of the German team.

In addition, Patrick De Nooijer has transferred from the London office to the Munich office to continue his work with the hotels team. Patrick has been with Christie + Co since 2012 and as well as being a fluent German speaker brings a wealth of knowledge of the corporate hotel market with him.

Recognising the opportunities to expand the company’s reach and service offerings in the French market Florence Mebrouk has been appointed Managing Director, replacing Philippe Souterbicq, and will be responsible for building the Christie + Co offering in France. A graduate of the Sorbonne with a Masters in Economics and Finance from Dauphine University, Florence has followed a career path in real estate finance encompassing asset management, fund investment and CDO financing, working in both Paris and London with companies including Goldman Sachs, Curzon Partners and Credit Lyonnais. Most recently she spent 11 years with RBS as a Director in the Real Estate Finance team, operating across sectors including hotels for major customers such as international investments funds and SIIC (REIT equivalent) investing mainly in the office, retail and hotel sectors. As Director, she was in charge of the restructuring of the existing loan portfolio and participated in key negotiations.

Christie + Co is also pleased to announce the opening of its Madrid office, to compliment its Barcelona office, with the appointment of Carlos Nieto, as Associate Director. Carlos will develop Christie + Co’s Services in Madrid and will report to Inmaculada Ranera, Managing Director for Spain and Portugal. The Spanish market is going through an undeniable recovery after the financial crisis, and Spain and Portugal are still very attractive countries for international investors.

Andreas Scriven, International Managing Director & Head of Consultancy at Christie + Co comments: “What ties our teams together is a sense of collaboration and commitment to client service, with these changes to our International team we are growing an already strong team who work closely with each other and with the Corporate team based in London. Each new appointment fills specific requirements in the markets and each new team member brings strengths and talents to suit each individual market. We are looking forward to building on the stellar work of our team and welcome Florence, Carlos and Patrick to the pan-European team.”
