Christie & Co sell Madeley Dental Practice and Dunelm Orthodontics
Specialist dental property adviser, Christie & Co has sold Madeley Dental Practice in Shropshire, an 11 surgery mixed income dental practice and Dunelm Orthodontics in Durham to Portman Healthcare in two separate transations.
Like many practice owners, the previous owners of Madeley Dental were inundated by off-market approaches to buy their practice, but when the time came to sell due to forthcoming retirements and to relinquish ownership responsibilities the partners sensibly opted to instruct an agent. After a busy marketing process the practice was sold to Portman Healthcare, one of the fastest growing national dental operators in the UK.
Dunelm Orthodontics is a six surgery practice located in Durham City, which is well equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. Mike Stedman has been an orthodontist treating patients throughout the North East for over twenty years and established Dunelm Orthodontics in 2000. Dunelm Orthodontics the only ‘Orthodontic Specialist’ practice in Durham and works with both NHS and private patients.

Madeley Dental Practice was sold off an asking price of £3,500,000 plus freehold in addition and Dunelm Orthodontics was sold off a leasehold asking price of OIEO £1,600,000.
