Christie + Co sells former care homes in Weston-Super-Mare

Acting on behalf of national care home operator Embrace, specialist property adviser Christie + Co is delighted to announce the sale of two former care homes in Weston-Super- Mare.

Kew Gardens and St Anthony’s Court ceased trading in the summer of 2014 and were subsequently placed onto the market each at a guide price of £395,000 for the freehold interest.  

Kew Gardens was a detached property with 29 bedrooms of which 22 were en suite whilst St Anthony’s, also a detached property, had 33 bedrooms with 19 en suite.  Each property benefited from off road parking for a number of vehicles.

Significant interest was shown in both properties from a range of potential purchasers including care home operators, property developers and investors and both properties were subsequently sold at auction.
