Christie & Co sells group of six North West children's homes
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co is pleased to announce the sale of Crossway Services Ltd, a group of six single occupancy children’s homes located in and around St Helens, Merseyside to established national childcare operator, Pebbles Care Ltd.
The previous owners, Mr Peter Byrne and Mrs Pauline Croft set up the business in 2004 when they opened their first home, having previously worked in the care sector for the local authority. They have firmly established a strong reputation within the local community, receiving ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted inspection reports and a consistent stream of referrals.
Peter and Pauline took the decision to sell due to their desire to begin new projects within the care sector.
The group comprises six properties which are a combination of leasehold and freehold two bedroom terraced and semi detached houses located in residential communities, with one child being homed at each property.
