Specialist property adviser Christie + Co has been instructed to market and invites offers for The Troubadour, an established music venue and restaurant in South West London.

The three leasehold properties making up the venue include a ground floor restaurant, with 114 covers, with basement club with capacity for 132, wine shop with basement wine bar seating 20, owners living quarters over three floors, a gallery with two self contained letting flats above, sleeping four, office, garden and ancillary storage.

The Troubadour is celebrating over 60 years of business since being established in 1954. The venue is one of the last remaining 50s Coffee Houses in London with a proud history as a centre of bohemian art scene. The Troubadour Club has hosted music greats such as Bob Dylan and Paul Simon in the 60s and 70s and more recently Ronnie Wood and Mick Taylor last year, and Adele, Ed Sheeran and Amos Lee. The venue retains a strong tradition of supporting young emerging musicians.

Simon Chaplin, Director, Pubs and Restaurants at Christie + Co comments: “This is a fantastic opportunity to acquire a slice of history and The Troubadour has a loyal clientele made up of both locals and those travelling from further afield to visit the venue. The business benefits from income from the wine shop, club and restaurant and there is scope for the new purchasers to build on the strong following The Troubadour has.”
