Having owned the business for the past 10 years, Manfred and Jacqueline Zeilerbauer have decided to retire from the industry and they are looking forward to the next chapter of their lives. Manfred’s retirement follows 56 years in the hospitality sector, having opened and operated a number of hotels including 11 years at Center Parcs as Operations Director tasked with the opening of new sites.

New owner, Lindsey Holland, comes with an impressive breadth of experience within the hospitality industry. Most recently, Lindsey led both the Operations and Team Development at St Pancras Hotel Group. Having previously boasted senior management experience at the critically acclaimed Zetter Townhouse and Serviced Apartment brand Dolphin House, Lindsey has now decided to apply that wealth of experience to her own venture.

Lindsey Holland stated; “This is a dream come true for me. I’ve been working in the hotel industry for over 15 years - so doing the thing I love most, in a town I love, is something I feel completely excited by. This is an opportunity to not only continue the great work that Manfred and Jacqueline have done, but also to really maximise the potential this historic building has. I can’t wait to get started.”

Matthew Smith, Director at Christie & Co's Bristol office who handled the sale comments; “We are delighted to announce the sale of Cleeve Hill House Hotel and we wish Manfred & Jacqueline all the very best in their well deserved retirement. We also wish the new owner, Lindsey, all the success for the future and are confident the business will move from strength to strength under her stewardship. Lindsey career has been in the hotel sector and her experience and ideas present an exciting time for the business.”

Cleeve Hill Hotel was sold off a guide price of £849,950.
