Convenience store in Ystradgynlais sold through Christie & Co

Best One occupies an attractive three storey semi-detached property with a 1,160 sq ft trading area on the ground floor, in addition to two newly refurbished flats with separate access located above the store. The well-established store benefits from loyal, local custom and recently underwent a total refurbishment in October 2017.

Having owned and operated the store for ten years, Mr & Mrs Iftikhar decided to sell to pursue new business interests outside of the retail sector. The business has been bought by Mr Thangarajah Kuganeswaran of AKH Properties Ltd, who plans to lease the store to family member, Mrs Nishanthan, a first-time entrant to the sector, who will be running the store with her family and plans to utilise one of the flats as owner’s accommodation. Mr Kuganeswaran and Mrs Nishanthan comment, “We are extremely happy to have this opportunity to purchase Best One, Ystradgynlais and exciting times to come.
