Great Missenden site to be redeveloped by new owner
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co has brokered the sale of a development site in the affluent Buckinghamshire village of Great Missenden. Previously trading as Annie Baileys, the pub was forced to close in 2012 following the proposal of the HS2 train line tunnel route, which was later rerouted and resulted in the property coming to the market.
The former pub and restaurant boasted 70 covers and three bedroom owners’ accommodation on the first floor, with a large car park and open field to the rear. The outdoor space presents the opportunity for further expansion or alternative use.
Prominently situated in a circa one-acre plot on Hyde End Road between Great Missenden and Chesham, the site has been successfully sold to a local businessman, who saw the opportunity to redevelop the site.

The site was sold off an asking price of £595,000.
