Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co has completed on the sale of the Grasmere Hotel in the picturesque village of Grasmere in Cumbria. The detached Victorian Country House was sold to a family with considerable experience in the sector looking to relocate to a honey pot location in the heart of the Lake District.

Built in 1871, the hotel offers eleven luxurious en suite letting bedrooms with stunning views over the surrounding countryside. Decorated with original period features and contemporary furnishings, each bedroom is named after one of the many great writers and poets who have been inspired by the Lake District’s beautiful landscape, most notably, poet William Wordsworth.
