‘Outstanding’ Montessori nursery school in Buckinghamshire sold
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of Marlow Montessori School in Marlow, Buckinghamshire.
Marlow Montessori benefits from a semi-rural location on the outskirts of the affluent Buckinghamshire town of Marlow. It operates from a village hall with a secure, enclosed outdoor play and provides a forest school for the children in a nearby woodland. The setting opened in 1993 and has become known locally for providing excellent quality Montessori education, evidenced in its consistent ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rating.
It was previously owned by Jan Lundie who recently decided to sell to pursue a well-earned retirement.
Following a confidential sales process with Sophie Willcox at Christie & Co, the setting has been purchased by Anya Navidski of Alba Nurseries - a successful group of two nurseries in London and Slough that focuses on outdoor learning and maintaining a kind and curios approach to learning. This is an excellent third setting for Alba Nurseries.
