New Lebanese restaurant for Windsor
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co has sold Dhinchak, a well-established restaurant in the historic market town of Windsor. Located in a prominent position on a cobbled street and just a few hundred yards from the castle gates, the restaurant attracted a significant amount of interest and has been sold to Meejana, experienced restauranteurs with a small portfolio of Lebanese restaurants.
Tim Widdows, Business Agent at Christie & Co handled the sale and comments, “I was delighted to facilitate the transaction on behalf of Saicharan Hospitality and have no doubt that with new owners, Edward Terry and Rita Cherfan will continue their success and add a fantastic new restaurant to the dining scene in Windsor.”
Edward Terry, Director at Meejana comments, “We are very pleased and excited with the purchase of this property. We have been searching for a site in Windsor for a while and are thrilled to be opening our third restaurant. Windsor is a beautiful, historic and bustling town and we look forward to welcoming not only visitors to the area, but also the many local residents.
“It was 11 years ago that we acquired our first restaurant in Weybridge, followed by our restaurant in Kensington in 2014, and we are now delighted to be further expanding our portfolio. We plan to open in Windsor after a short period of refurbishment.”
“Our aim is to make this restaurant the place to dine when visiting Windsor. The kitchen is the engine room of the business and our chefs can’t wait to start cooking in it. As with our other restaurants, we will be serving our famous homemade Lebanese cuisine.”
The restaurant was sold off a leasehold asking price of £120,000.
