New market entrant, Joyful Tots, takes on Redhill village nursery
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of Sticky Fingers Nursery in Redhill, Surrey.
The business dates back to the 1960s when it traded under a different name. It changed to Sticky Fingers Nursery in 1998 when it moved to a village hall in the Surrey town of Redhill. Here, it caters for up to 32 children aged two to five years. The hall is situated amongst stunning countryside whilst being in close proximity to the town centre.
Following a confidential sales process with Christie & Co, the business has been sold to new market entrant, Joyful Tots, whose owner hopes to build a small group across the Surrey area.
Sophie Willcox, Director – Childcare & Education at Christie & Co, who handled the sale, comments, “It has been a pleasure working with Cameron on the sale of his nursery, and I wish the team at Joyful Tots the best of luck for the future of the nursery.
“This is one of several Surrey nurseries that I have sold this year, and we are still seeing excellent demand for assets which are performing well and are known for providing high-quality childcare.”
Sticky Fingers Nursery was sold for an undisclosed price.
