Following the decision to sell in order to retire from the sector, Milos Parojcic comments, “The family have really enjoyed running The Victoria Hotel for over 40 years and whilst we are sad to be leaving, we are very pleased that Tom Orchard from Christie & Co has found a buyer who will take the hotel to the next level and continue the success.”

New owner and experienced hotel developer, Ede Group has previously developed and owned hotels in around Oxford, including The Principal Oxford Spires Hotel. Director, Daniel Ede comments, “I am thrilled to have purchased The Victoria Hotel and we have some exciting plans in the coming months. This purchase continues the group’s effort to increase our hotel division, both on the development and operational side.”

Tom Orchard, Business Agent at Christie & Co’s Reading office, handled the sale and comments, “The Victoria represented a wonderful opportunity to acquire a successful business in Oxford. This is an exciting purchase for the Ede Group and I have no doubt they will continue to grow the business and maximise the potential. It’s been a pleasure to work with them and I wish them all the best with this new venture.”

The Victoria Hotel was sold off a freehold asking price of £2,000,000.
