Popular restaurant brought to the market through Christie & Co
Mexican restaurant, Carlito Burrito, situated in the vibrant East Sussex seaside resort of Brighton, has come to the market through specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co.
With Mexican themed décor and menu, the popular restaurant comprises a 40 cover dining area, a serving bar and large commercial kitchen together with outside seating for up to 16 covers, particularly popular with diners in the warmer months.
Ideally placed close to the Pavilion Gardens, seafront and the main shopping area, Carlito Burrito was founded by Mexican born and bred Carlito Riestra in 2012. Having worked in, managed and built restaurants and bars throughout his career, Carlito set up the town’s first Mexican owned restaurant, offering diners a menu influenced by the ceviche and seafood street food of the Pacific coast.
Owner, Carlito Riestra is selling the leasehold in order to focus on his family and other business interests abroad. He comments, “I have thoroughly enjoyed welcoming diners old and new to my restaurant over the past five years but feel the time is right to hand over the reins to a new operator who can continue to grow the business and take it to the next level.”
James Hughes, Senior Business Agent at Christie & Co’s Maidstone office is handling the sale and comments, “Carlito Burrito offers a wonderful opportunity to purchase a well-established and successful business, which enjoys year round trade with consistent levels of turnover and maintains the potential to further grow the delivery side of the business.”
“The Brighton market is always buoyant, and we tend to see lots of interest and activity due to it being a very popular destination, especially for hospitality businesses due to the number of tourists.”
Christie & Co is seeking £140,000 for the leasehold interest of Carlito Burrito with an annual rent of £13,200.
