Restaurant in Kendal now available to purchase for £295,000
With the freehold of the entire building housing Native Bar & Grill and three upstairs apartments in Kendal, Cumbria having come to the market earlier this year, the option to purchase the restaurant separately has also become available.
The restaurant has seating for 55 and this along with the three flats above have been extensively restored and renovated, resulting in the entire property winning the LABC North West Regional Building Excellence Award for Redevelopment in 2013. Two of the apartments are currently used for letting and one for owner’s accommodation.
The current owners are selling due to retirement.
Tom O’Malley, Business Agent in Christie & Co’s Manchester office, comments, “No expense has been spared on the fitting out of this building and there is extremely high potential for a new owner to take it on and drive trade for both the restaurant and letting apartments. With the freehold of the restaurant now available separately, we expect to see interest from local and national restaurant operators who want to get a foot into the market town which is popular with both tourists and locals and start trading immediately.”
Christie & Co is seeking an asking price of £795,000 for the freehold of the entire building or £295,000 for the freehold of the restaurant.
