The Three Horseshoes in Buckinghamshire welcomes new owners
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co has completed on the leasehold sale of The Three Horseshoes, a popular and well regarded pub in the affluent Buckinghamshire village of Seer Green.
Located on Orchard Road, in the heart of the village, the attractive pub features an open plan bar and restaurant which can accommodate up to 60 covers with an outside trading area for a further 50 covers. Well known for its traditional British dishes, the pub benefits from a good reputation locally and enjoys trade from walkers, cyclists and the local community.
Following a successful five years of ownership, David Johal and his family decided to move on in order to focus on other business interests. They comment, “We have thoroughly enjoyed the past five years at The Three Horseshoes and have made many friends along the way. We are handing over the reins to experienced operators, who we are sure will continue to take the business from strength to strength. Seer Green has a wonderful community and I am sure they will be made to feel very welcome as they embark on their new venture.”
New operators, Ellie Gale and Russell Rainbow both have strong experience in the sector, having previously run several other pubs. They comment, “We are excited to take on this wonderful pub and look forward to being part of the local community. We have lots of ideas for the future of the business and we can’t wait to get going!”
Tim Widdows, Business Agent at Christie & Co’s Reading office handled the sale and comments, “I was delighted to facilitate this transaction and wish the new owners all the best for the future. I am sure it will be a strong business for many years to come.”
The Three Horseshoes was sold off a leasehold guide price of £100,000.
