Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co has sold the Premier-branded Hightown Convenience Store in Congleton, Cheshire to an existing operator from Leeds.
This well-established convenience store enjoys a prominent trading position in a densely populated residential area of the town. With no immediate competition, the business is heavily relied upon by the local community and generates steady trade levels as a result.
Within two weeks of launching to the market, Christie & Co’s marketing process generated 16 initial enquiries which resulted in seven viewings and eight offers from four separate parties. The store was eventually sold well above asking price, exceeding the vendors expectations.
