Valley View Care Home sold for the first time to experienced operator

Valley View is a residential care home which provides personal care for old age, including those with dementia. It is registered for 59 service users and comprises 59 single bedrooms, all of which have en suite shower facilities.

Built by its previous owners Rex Develop Ltd in 2010, the home sits in a purpose-built, modern, four-storey property of traditional stone construction under a slate roof. It is in excellent condition throughout and has been maintained to a very high standard of repair and decoration.

The home is situated in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, and occupies an excellent position near local transport and surrounded by predominantly residential properties. Huddersfield is one of the main population centres of West Yorkshire, approximately 17 miles west of Leeds and 35 miles east of Manchester, and boasts excellent road links. Historically an industrial town, Huddersfield has undergone considerable development over recent years and boasts many national retailers and out-of-town business parks.

The business has been purchased by Visionary Care Limited. There has been much negativity in the sector since the beginning of March but, with the introduction of testing in care homes, the number of reported cases has dropped significantly, and we are starting to see occupancy levels rise again.
